A favourite quote of mine comes from the renowned Nigerian novelist, Ben Okri, who once wrote that we are not only born into stories, but also born from them.

 

Looking back, I realise how true that has been for me. My own story has taken me from the coast of Mombasa, Kenya, to Pretoria, South Africa, and into the world of animation and storytelling. Along the way, I discovered not only a love for creating characters and worlds, but also a desire to tell the stories I rarely saw growing up.

 

That journey led me to create The StoryForge—a creative entertainment company dedicated to building original African mythology-inspired fantasy stories for global audiences. My hope is to create worlds that spark wonder, celebrate culture, and inspire others to see Africa through a new lens.
